KOWLOON POST-EXODUS

The Sign you see on the right side of this painting says "Hong Kong Comic Book" in Cantonese. I bought a vintage little comic book in one of my recent teaching trips. There is a lot of talk on at street level on HK's exodus. I definitely felt it with the reduction of students albeit, not so much in Kowloon where I tend to stay. It still remains one of the areas with highest population density in the world. Elevated walways, travelators and scalators are a few of the ways to dis place and walk around.
